Camping Tenorinneestablished in 1966 Camping Tenorinne is located in a dynamic landscape at Karigasniemi close to the Inari River just between the Northern parts of Finland and Norway. Karigasniemi is a small border village within the Community of Utsjoki. Half of the approximately 300 inhabitants are Samish. They are living from reindear farming and tourism. Karigasniemi has it's own post office, bank, customs, chapel, school and medical facilities. There are two shops where you get all you need and a couple of little restaurants. The neighbour village is Karasjok in Norway, only 18 km away from Karigasniemi. The camping place use to be open from the beginning of June until the end of September. There are 8 single wooden cottages for 2-4 persons. Some of them have their own electric cooking plate and a fridge. For caravans and tents you will find plenty of space in the yard. For the caravans electricity is provided. The children are enjoying the playground with their own ”Club House “ and toys while the grown ups have a drink in the nearby cosy guest house. The view from the balcony of the main building takes you over the boarder river to the lovely hills of Norway. The guests will enjoy the sauna before the refreshing dip into the clear and clean Inari River. To sit at the fireplace brings just the right atmosphere for the evening rest. The member's kitchen, toilets, washing, shower and laundry facilities make your stay really easy and comfortable. You will never forget the summer time in the Arctic area. Daylight around the clock is a great experience. The Camping Tenorinne staff is proud to be for your service 24 hours a day. Welcome to Camping Tenorinne!
